The Knoll Retreat Center
The Knoll is a ministry of Equip Canada, and is dedicated to the concept of Christian retreat for individuals and groups. It is located on 16 forested acres,
 having over 60 metre of frontage on the Koksilah River. From the deck you can watch bald eagles preening themselves, and clearly see the trout swimming in the river below. There are many places available for meditation, walking or swimming. The Knoll offers a unique opportunity for retreat in the Cowichan Valley in a setting that cannot but help restore the body, mind and spirit.
The facilities include accommodation in three self-contained units for individuals, families or groups.
 The Lodge accommodates six to nine people on three levels. There is a kitchen and dining area, as well as a great room with a cathedral ceiling. The magnificent stone fireplace has a gas log fire. An 85 square metre deck directly overlooks the river.
The Chalet can sleep up to six people on two levels. It has a combined kitchen, eating area and living room. A large French door/window provides spectacular river views and access to a 60 square metre deck area.
The Cottage provides a quiet and secluded location that sleeps 4 or 5 persons
on one level. It features a small kitchen and a moderate sized eating/living area. There is direct access to the forest and river.
In addition, there is a multi-purpose room available for groups. It can be equipped with four airbeds; seat sixteen in a lecture style setting; and accommodate twenty-four for a meal.
