10.  After the second pass and collar are done and has had about 10 minutes to dry, you need to take a close look and go over the places where you can see the pattern of the malla or the chicken wire.

You use a very thin wet mix to touch up the worst spots.  The tank will never look perfect, but you need to try to do the best you can to leave it looking good.

After removing the visible patters, you than can GENTLY brush the outside walls with a damp-wet paint brush or sponge to give the tank a smoother appearance.

Finished Outside Passes
Day Two

11. If  there is a chance of rain, the tank will need to be covered with a plastic tarp (lona)  for the night.  It will take at least 3 people to cover the tank.

Stretch the lona in a vertical position with the cleanest side toward the tank.Carefully walk it around the tank - like wrapping a mummy.
The bottom edge of the lona should just be touching the base and the extra material at the top should be gently laid (tucked) inside the tank.

The lid can then be placed on the tank and weighted down with heavy boards or rocks for the night. This will protect the tank from rain (and children).

Note: You need to to make a finger size hole where you will put the spigot.  See instructions for on Day 3.
