Jeremy and Tamara Boone

The Lord has burdened both of our hearts for the injustices of poverty. That fire was stoked when we both traveled to Kenya and served with Jeremy installing solar water pumps in the Rift Valley villages and Tamara working in outreach ministries to the Nairobi slums. We married with Africa on our hearts and settled in Asheville, NC, where we ministered to the poor, homeless and addicted for 4.5 years. In time the Father mutually affirmed our call to Africa with His peace and a release in our souls. Our plans are to base out of Jinja to begin scouting the needs, current efforts, and potential for Kingdom work. We are aiming to get involved with sustainable development initiatives that promote long-term community health through living with the people, grassroots community organizing, and appropriate technology.
